The state of happiness experienced by people with an income of no less than 60 thousand dollars per year.
A 2009 Gallup survey showed that below an income of 60,000 dollars a year people are unhappy, and they get progressively unhappier the poorer they get. Now, happiness levels increase up to the $60K mark, but above that it's a flat line. This indicates that money does not buy you happiness, but lack of money certainly buys you misery.
"So... will you marry Bill?"
"No way, he is not 60k and I don´t dig poor.
"Hi Thomas, why so happy?
"Bro, I got the promotion... now I am 60k!"
"Alice... Will you finally marry John?"
"No way Jose...! he is not 60k."
